There are a lot of different braiding styles that I perform.

I d0 kinky twists, dreadlocks, two strand twists, braid/weave combinations, and pixie braids. I no longer do microbraids and Senegalese twists due to the lengthy time to complete these styles.

I use very high quality hair products and I take time to educate my clients on maintaning healthy hair.

PIXIE BRAIDS/SMALL INDIVIDUALS

These are also known as small box braids. I do not tug and pull at your hair so you do not lose your edges. My recommendation is to keep pixie braids in for 8 - 12 weeks. Keeping braids in for very long periods of time will cause overall damage to your hair.

CORNROWS

Cornrows are a great way to style your hair and are completed in a relatively short amount of time. Cornrows can be done with your hair only or with extensions added for length.

KINKY TWISTS

These are very popular twists. Great for the person who likes a great looking braid style with no fuss. They are great for people who enjoy a highly active lfestyle and water sports. Most of my clients wear twist styles for 8 - 12 weeks.

BRAID/ WEAVE COMBINATIONS

This is a great way to get the look of microbraids, without the many many hours of braiding!! Microbraids are done at the front of your head and edges and the center of you head is cornrowed and weave is sewn on. Another great way to wear this style is to have cornrows in the front part of your hair and weave in the back.

Natural clients or transitioning clients can benefit from these type of styles because none of your natural hair is left out. No need to worry about blending your hair to the weave.
